Don't Wast Your Money
I hate to write negative reviews, but this was a really dissapointing product. The dance troupe I am in had to make a banner for a performance. We outlined our letters and stripes with painter's tape and then proceeded to follow the instructions to paint the banner. First, the spray was not a smooth flow, it squirted all over the place. Then, the watery paint soaked through the fabric right under the tape, it looked horrible. Now I have to come up with another banner idea. Plus the paint didn't get very far. I used for cans for a few lettering and still didn't have enough. Don't waste your money, unless you're looking for a sloppy 1980's spray painted grafitti look.
Terrible Product
This is a terrible product. The nozzle clogs even on brand new cans out of the package and there is no way to unclog them. If you do get a can to work, once you store it the rest will be wasted when the nozzle clogs. I even tried storing some submerged in water and they still clogged up. Great idea, awful engineering on the cans. And why does Joannes continue to sell such a poor product? And why
VERY disappointed
I bought a can of the black and a can of the raspberry to color a couple of small (8x5") canvas tote bags. I wasn't expecting the cans to have enough paint to cover MULTIPLE totes, but I was shocked when one can didn't even cover one tote on the outside. In addition the color of the raspberry was MUCH lighter than it appeared on the packaging. Very disappointed and I'm sorry I wasted my money (and coupons) on these.
Great Results!
We bought this for my nieces birthday party sleepover. The girls all were instructed to bring an old T-shirt and a pillowcase. The girls had so much fun tie dying away, we followed the directions and the results were fabulous! We watched the how to video on their website http://simplyspray.com When the nozzles got dried paint in it we soaked it in warm water and it started to spray again. The girls all wore their shirts to school on the same day the next week.We will do this again for another party or maybe a pep rally and use the school colors. I will try the white stencil paint and let you know how it works. They also have Upholstery paint but I have not seen it at the store. I did some pillow and a chair, it covered well.

Total junk, don't waste your money!
I bought this for a costume project, and purchased a can of "Poppy Red" which would normally make you think of the slightly orangey red shown on the can, and I needed a color in the red to red-orange range, so it looked perfect! The color was not at all like what was shown! It was more of a hot magenta...not any thing near red. I was really disappointed, and ended up having to buy a different fabric paint to get the color I needed. Even though I cleaned the nozzle, when I went to use it on a different project (since it was a total waste for what I had intended originally) the nozzle would not spray at all. This was a waste! I would not recommend this to any one! Buy a decent brush on fabric paint instead!
