Good for a First Time Dress Form
This dress form is great for beginning seamstresses like me who only sew occasionally. I also use it to help steam wrinkles out of formal gowns. The stand is easy to adjust (start with the hips and work up). However, the height adjuster can be difficult to work with. The pole will slowly slip down under the weight of a heavy gown.The only other problem I have with it is that one shoulder sits a while 1.5" lower than the other, so she stands a little lopsided. The hem tool is handy, though and the neck adjustment is a lifesaver! Instead of adjusting the bust larger, use pads to alter the chest size and placement.
Singer dressform small/medium
I bought this when it was on sale for $90.00 (on Thanksgiving) I just received it and used it for a little bit. This is my first dressform and I think it works pretty great. It's plenty sturdy. I was worried about buying because of people saying it was flimsy, but it stays in place just fine! I love that form is adjustable as well as the height. I have no idea what the arm thing for the stand is for, but I am very satisfied with the dressform.

not a very good dress form - my neice who is on the small side this works well for without adjusting and knows. For me I have to do adjustments for a slightly bust and hips - for the form is just cheap overall. It seems inconsistent in holding the numbers that you dial in. I don't like it at all. Will never buy again.
Garbage
Bought this last Christmas. The cheap stand broke within a week of it being set up. It is total garbage made in China. It now lays in a heap useless. Don't waste your money! I would have returned it but had kept it for Christmas and didn't set it up until a month later. You won't believe how cheaply made it is!
bad dressform
its hard to drape on this dressform cuz its not stable,not confortable to wrok with. i dont recomend anyone to buy this. if you are buying one spend more money and buy quality dressform that can last you years. this is just a waste of money.
It was a Gift, what can I say;
I have wanted one of these for a long time. It was ordered fro my Bday in April and I finally got it the end of June. EASY put together. Beleive everyone when they say the height slips and it slips easy. Husband had a good idea, use a clamp to hold to height remove when changing height and clamp again. Other than that I guess you get what you pay for.
Singer Dressform
Thought to buy dress form for a year, then finally ordered Singer Dress form since it was on sale for 99$ and shipping was only 5$. First of all it was delivered in less then a week, even that Joann asks to allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. Condition of dress form is great, no defects and easy to put together. It is lightweight, but I don't think it is possible to make adjustable dress form heavy, it have to be hollow inside. I would say that for someone who have to work with clients with different sizes this dress form is great. You have approximate an idea how outfit will look like but still need to have a fitting or two to have a great result. I am thinking now to get dress form in bigger size, probably will take me a year lol.
