Singer® 4411 Heavy Duty Sewing Machine is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 37.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Could use a few feature improvements I've been using for several months now, and for the price the machine is worth it. Pros; heavy duty motor, sews fast and straight, easy settings for stitches, drop in bobbin is wonderful, like the angled thread holder is great. Cons; not as quiet as the box leads you to believe. the side thread cutter is at such close proximity to the machine I struggle to cut the thread, if it angled out a bit more it would be perfect. The bobbin, area tends to pull the upper thread and get caught when I'm pulling the item off of the base to cut, drives me nuts. Also the thread gets lost in the machine if it breaks off the needle and its not super easy to get it out if its stuck around the thread guide. The side spool holder does not stay put, comes off all the time. I like my machine, but one last con; WHY NO MAINTENANCE BOOK? I want one, so I know how and where to go for basic maintenance which should be done several times a year with the amount of sewing I do.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money I got this as a gift from my husband, he not knowing anything about machines he ask if it was good. They told him it was.It won't fill the bobbin and I had to buy a bobbin winder to even use it.Not wanting to hurt my husband's feelings still have it but don't u we it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a rude machine I love the poder of this metal machine gives to me, there is not problem with thick fabric or several layers at once.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Tension problem The machine is about a year old, I don't use often, but when I started using for 5 days, the bottom thread started looping. I adjusted the tension, made no difference. I changed the needle, did all that were suggested in manual and online, does not fix the problem. Since it happened in the middle of one project, and it started out perfevt, I don't think the problem is in the fabric or the thread.
