This is my first sewing machine that I have owned and as a "newbie" to the sewing world, I have to say that this machine is really wonderful! Very easy to learn on and the instructions are great! Highly recommend!
I'm a rookie into the sewing world & wanted to get something simple to use but also quality. I know of the Singer reputation. I'm so looking forward to working on a number of upcoming crafts & can't wait to use my new machine.
I bought this to replace my Simple Singer sewing machine. This machine went over my expectations. Very sturdy, quiet & easy to use. I love the extra large sewing space and of course the unique vintage style. Very happy with my purchase! You won't be sorry, it's worth the money.
My wife is really into Halloween. Up until now, we've been getting by with slapping stuff together and hoping for the best. This year, however, will be different. I looked all over the internet for the best sewing machine for beginners. After an extensive search, I found this one (pun intended) After doing a few test runs, I think I'm finally getting the hang of it. Even sewed a bed pillow that came out almost as nice as buying one. The DVD shows you all kinds of tips and tricks for those just starting out, or for those who may have taught themselves. I was a little leery about the price at first, but having used it for almost 2 weeks straight now, I can tell you it's worth every penny. If all goes well, we should have the creepiest 13 year
I just purchased this machine and I absolutely love it. It handles very nicely. It alerts you to when you are trying to sew but forget to place the presser foot down by giving an error code and once you lower the foot it goes on about the business of sewing. I got it to replace my singer simple and I have never been the happier. It has a bigger sewing surface, which is great for quilting and it looks like one of the older antique black ones - which I love - I got it on sale too and saved $100.00. I am so glad because as of yet I have had no issues and I use it at least every other day. My husband even liked it and he is not a machine buff. I would definitely recommend this machine to anyone looking to upgrade from the cheap $90.00 singer.
My Singer machine finally broke and to save money I bought a cheap $88 Simplicity machine - huge mistake. Needless to say i jumped on the recent sale on line and purchased this machine (thanks to all the reviews that everyone sent in). Love the size of the machine, the needle threader is unbelievable and the bobbin insertion is great. This machine is very sturdy and high quality. When you sew with it, you can just feel it by the way it handles. this is not a plastic throwaway machine. And the sale price was excellent!.
This machine is so easy to use, and perfect for any level.
I recently purchased the Singer One, and absolutely love it. I have used a Singer for 25 years or more, and wanted another with more stitches to choose from. It runs very smoothly, and really pretty simple to learn, even though I felt like a dummy first trying to load a bobbin several times and had no luck! Then I read an important sentence in the manual" make sure the pressure foot is down". It loads perfectly every time!!! LOL
