Singer Stitch Sew Quick is rated 1.8571428571428572 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from good for how much it is It took some playing around with, but I figured it out. I like it! Yes, the end unravels, but that's to be expected since there is not bottom bobbin. I guess the stitch it make is similar to a running stitch. You have to hold the end of the stitching to keep from pulling it out, and then tie it off. It works. I think this will be good for small projects and sewing jobs, like hemming pants. I must be a weird height or my legs are weird or something because regular size pants are always too long and short size pants are always too short. I've wasted a lot of time hand sewing hems and this machine will definitely make it a lot easier.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from You'll need patience and practice . . . Practice on a few scraps to keep the hem straight, perfect ending the seam and tying knots. My few time using this was a diaster, the hem was crooked and the seam just unraveled. I threw in th eback of the closet for years. Fast forward to today. I needed to hem a skirt quickly and pulled out this handy lil' guy. I practiced on a few scraps and presto it works...have patience. I used it again to take in a sweater that was stretched from wearing and washing - great! I use the threader to knot the loose thread with the seam. I then go over the last few stitches by hand with needle & thread to reinforce the end.

Rated 0 out of 5 by from Avoid this one Avoid, avoid, avoid. Much more work than a simple needle and thread. Sewed one line of stitches, then I could not get it to work again. FWIW, I'm an experienced seamstress. Don't waste your money or your time; if you want to sew, get yourself a real machine (older mechanical models from a sewing shop are very, very affordable.) If you just want to do a fast project, sew it by hand. This is nothing more than a piece of junk.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like it! Mine is 3 years old and I can't do without it. OK, it's tricky to thread and get started, but once that's done, I've never had a problem. I keep it on our boat because it's handy and can be stored easily. I even made the cover for our salon couch. I didn't have to drag my big machine to the boat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but..... I think this product is good. There is only one problem that drives me nuts, It's hard to get your cloth between the needle and the plate, the space is not enough if they had one that the needle can be raised a little higher it would be excellent. Please let me know if there is a different one where the needle goes up a little more.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from buyer beware Don't waste your money on this product. I purchased thinking it would be great for small, quick repairs. Boy was I wrong....nothing quick about it. I could not get it to work.
