Orange needles in size 80/11 are designed for use with lightweight fabrics, blue needles in size 90/14 are for use with medium-weight fabrics and purple needles in size 100/16 for use with heavyweight fabrics. These needles last up to 4 times longer than traditional steel needles and are compatible with Singer, Brother, Kenmore and other quality sewing machines.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from The go-to needle Most accessible needle on the market. What else need be said? Sharp or ball point. You choose. Ball point means it doesn’t cut through a thread as much but can take more torque of the machine. Sharp is for tough leather, etc., fabrics or with no weave.
