  • Yarn needle

    • GAUGE: 17 dc = 5" [12.5 cm]; 9 rows dc = 5" [12.5 cm]. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size needles/hook to obtain the gauge given.

    • DIRECTIONS:


    • Blanket measures 36" (91.5 cm) x 36" (91.5 cm).

    • With A, ch 116.
    • Row 1 (Right side): Skip 1 ch, sc in next ch, [skip 2 ch, 5 dc in next ch, skip 2 ch, sc in next ch] 19 times; turn—115 sts.
    • Row 2 (Wrong side): Ch 3 (does not count as a st), 3 dc in first sc, [skip next 2 dc, sc in next dc, skip next 2 dc, 5 dc in next sc] 18 times, skip next 2 dc, sc in next dc, skip next 2 dc, 3 dc into last sc; turn—115 sts.
    • Row 3: Ch 1 (does not count as a st), sc in first dc, [skip 2 dc, 5 dc in next sc, skip 2 dc, sc in next dc] 19 times; turn – 115 sts.
    • Rows 4-15: Repeat Rows 2 and 3. At the end of Row 15, fasten off A.
    • Rows 16-25: With Wrong side facing, join B in the last st of Row 15; repeat Rows 2 and 3. At the end of Row 25, fasten off B.
