Description

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Needle nose pliers
  • Wire cutters
  • Round nose pliers
  • Antique gold chain, 2 pk
  • 4mm bronze bicones, 1 pk
  • Antique gold starter pack, 2 pk
  • 4mm & 6mm black bicone mix, 5 pk

DIRECTIONS:

1. Make 24 all black beaded links in this order: 4mm black bicone, 6mm black bicone, 4mm black bicone, 6mm black bicone, and 4mm black bicone.
2. Make 24 black and copper beaded links in this order: 4mm bronze bicone, 6mm black bicone, 4mm bronze bicone, 6mm black bicone, and 4mm bronze bicone.
3. Cut the antique gold chain in the following lengths: 5 1/8", 5½", 5½", 5½", 5½", 5½", 5 5/8", and 6".
4. Repeat for the other side.
5. Attach one side of the chain to a 6mm jump ring with 4mm jump rings, keeping the chains in order to the lengths listed in Step 3.
6. Repeat for the other side.
7. Attach a toggle bar and loop to the 6mm jump ring with a 4mm jump ring.
8. On the other end of the 8 chain strands, attach a beaded link. Alternate the colors as the picture shows and do the same for the other side of the necklace.
9. Cut eight 1½" chain strands and attach them to the other side of the bead links.
10. Repeat for the other side of the necklace.
11. Attach bead links in alternating colors to the chain strands on both sides.
12. Cut eight more 1½" chain strands and attach them to the chain links.
13. Attach bead links in alternating colors to the chain strands on both sides.
14. Finish the necklace by connecting the last two bead link sections together with these chain links in order: 3 7/8", 4 1/8", 4 5/8", 5, 5½" 5 5/8", 5 5/8", 6 3/8", and 6½".
