I hate all 9 of my Stazon inks. The metallic especially (Gold & Copper) have to be reinked every time or they are a sticky mess that is hard to clean off your stamps. The White Opaque ink is worthless, since it is so invisible, that even a cheap $1 Studio-G ink spot shows darker than this on Kraft paper, and the regular colors are too juicy and have to stamp several times before I can get a normal non-smudge image. I wish I didn’t purchase any of them, they all suck.
I do Decoupage and use rubber stamps for accents here and there. The beauty is I can varnish over the ink and it won't smear! Love it.
I purchased StazOn because it was recommended for a project I'm working on. The only "negative" I have is that it dries so fast, I couldn't remove it from my stamps but I will be buying StazOn ink remover soon. It is fast drying and no smearing afterward. Love it. I have several colors and will buy more.
I bought these because it said that you could use it on shrink plastic. I did use it on my shrinky dinks & it sort of bled just like my other inks. I am a bit disappointed about this because it is the reason I bought this type of ink.
These ink pads are a must for any serious stamper. They allow you to stamp on any surface - paper, acetate, shrink plastic. They allow you to watercolor or use a blender pen and they won't smear. I couldn't go one day without my StazOn ink pads!
I purchased the white to use with stamps that had a swirl design. Wanted a background, so I was stamping on paper. You can't see where I stamped. I have inked the pad 3 times to be sure I had enough ink. It just doesn't work. I will have to go to a pigment ink. It was a huge waste of money.
These ink pads are a must for watercolors. There's a nice selection of colors so there is a bit to chose from. I love the white opaque on black. Looks great.
A while ago I wrote a review stating that the StazOn opaque pads were useless. I got some more re-inker and added more ink and tried them again. They do work pretty well, and actually look better than the Fluid Chalk pads for that opaque look.
