I store my yarn and crochet hooks in these, they work great! I also have one container I use to hold a current project(a baby blanket)and couple skeins, I take it with me on road trips or anywhere I want to do my crocheting.

I use the large size for sewing patterns. Works great because you can see through the box to see which patterns are inside. And they stack for maximizing storage.

Great for storage, not very durable

I have bought many of these boxes as toy storage - the different sizes stack well and fit perfectly on the shelves in my kid's room. I also love that the lids on the rectangular ones are the same size. you can jsut greab a lid and put it on without worrying if it's the right lid. The only problem - they break very easily. Of course, I do have three boys, but I have seen them break simply from being dropped on the floor. I have even seen broken ones in the stores (on many occasions). They are great for storage and I love them, but I am now trying to find other boxes that hold up better.

I have purchased a number of these units (cd size, medium and large) and I love them. I use them to store my cds, serger thread, dvds, and basically 'stuff' I need to be portable. I bought them on Joann's 50% off sale so the price was right also. So far they've held up fine and I definately am in the market to buy more. They do stack well as long as you stick with the same size.
