Description

 3 Bead Stretch Band Necklace          

 

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Stretch Band Bracelet Loops
  • 3 fancy beads (1 big & 2 smaller)
  • Crochet hook (optional)
  • Thick needle or safety pin

 

DIRECTIONS:

1.    Review http://snapguide.com/guides/make-a-stretch-band-bracelet/ to learn the basic stretch band technique. A crochet hook can help pull stretch bands through.

2.    Decide on necklace length.

3.    Fold a stretch band and thread through big bead so there is a loop on either side of the bead (use a needle or pin for tight holes). Connect stretch bands on 1 loop, as shown in Snapguide, using 2 stretch bands instead of 1. Do this 5 times.

4.    Add beaded stretch band. Continue connecting stretch bands as usual the rest of the way up. Repeat for other side.

5.    Clip ends together.

3.    Create 3 strands of the above length, clipping all ends together on 1 end and separately on the other.

4.    Open jump ring and thread through stretch band ends, add earring wire, close jump ring.

2.    Fold a stretch band and thread through a bead so there is a loop on either side of the bead (use a needle or pin for tight holes). Clip 1 loop.

4.    Starting with the beaded end, wrap strand around bead on felt to create rosette, adding glue underneath. Tuck knots & clips under. Allow to dry.
