A ribbon-like polyester film that is metalized with aluminum to make it brilliantly reflective. For sewing machine, serger and handwork. For best results, use on a vertical spool pin. Set top tension on a lower setting. Use a 80/85, 14 needle (embroidery or top stitching). Sew at a slow or moderate speed. In the bobbin use a Sulky Metallic, 40 weight, fine sewing or basting thread. 250 Yards.

Disappointed...

Maybe my machine needed some adjustments or maybe a different needle. My thread kept breaking. I used a 90/14 needle. I loved the color but gee... the thread breaking was getting on my one last nerve. Any advice?

 

Egyptian Clothing

I used this thread to embroider dresses and shawls for my pharaonic dance performances. It comes in all the colors of traditional Egyptian pigments, which are gold, saffron, indigo, and ochre. It catches light so well. All my clothing is sewn with this thread.

 

Wonderful for cards

I use this for card embroidery and it is excellent. It is easy to handle and comes in an astounding number of colors.
