This photo does not do this fabric justice. You can't stop feeling it, so soft. It sews easily on machine even though I was worried it might be too stretchy it isn't at all. I paid full price so it was $$ but I love what I made out of it, a muff for warm hands!!
With a light pink blanket binding it makes the perfect (12" x 12") blanky for my granddaughter! I can make as many as she needs so that one can be in the washer and dryer while she has one. I can always replace any lost blankies; she recently lost one at Disney World. I'm going to buy enough to make 9 blankies (just one yard of fabric); that way, she should always have any extra.
I love this fabric! It is so soft. It was easy to sew with a machine and is very forgiving.
Use the Hot pink as a backing for my rag quilt ...love it. http://zizibright.blogspot.com/2012/11/rag-quilt-paris-theme.html
This stuff is great! I got the pink to make a pink kitty costume for a customer and wow this stuff is soft! Keep your vacuum in reach when you are cutting, the cast off fluff can get your eyes itching but it is worth it for the finished product. Getting 5 more yards in brown and white for a guinnie pig costume for a customer that saw the pink kitty and loved it!
I bought this fabric over seven years ago to make a plush window seat for our kitties. I used the left over fabric for couch throw pillows. Two cats have "kneaded" it for years and I've never found a tear. I've thrown my pillows in the washer and dryer (on low) and they still look new and feel soft. I'm buying more today to make a padded headboard that I know will last for years.
This stuff is soooo soft and cuddly! My grown daughter loves her throw and has requested a second one in a different color. Her friend has requested I make her one too. My daughter won't share with anyone and says if she ever gets married that new hubby can't even use it! The fabric was not that difficult to sew - I feared with the slippery back and satin lining I would have a sewing nightmare but it went quite smoothly. I knotted it every 10" inches or so to keep the two fabrics together.
I bought a piece of this fabric. It is wonderfully soft. Made a beautiful baby blanket.
