Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect in every way! I have used several different thread snips over the past 40+ years of sewing - some good, some not so good. I purchased the Gingher 4 1/2" snips more on a whim and partly because I have had really good performance out of my other Gingher products overall. I ABSOLUTELY love these snips! They are the right weight to give a good feel when being used and (of course) marvelously sharp. I plan to purchase the same snips for my sister, daughters-in-law, granddaughters and another one for me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great to have on hand. Many years ago I was gifted my great-grandmothers sewing kit which had a pair of this thread snips inside. After four generations of use, they were getting dull. I was so excited to find these. They work infinitely better than the others for being sharp ;) I keep them next to my sewing machine and take them with me when I travel. They work great as a impromptu seam ripper.
