DIRECTIONS: WOF = Width of Fabric. 1/4" seam allowance used throughout.
1. From each of the fabrics, cut two 12 1/2" x WOF strips. Subcut each of the strips into 8 1/2" x 12 1/2" rectangles, for a total of 45 rectangles.

2. Lay out the rectangles. Each column is stitched with the 8 1/2" ends together. Odd columns consist of six rectangles.

Even columns are stitched with five 8 1/2" x 12 1/2" rectangles and an 8 1/2" x 6 1/2" rectangle at each end.

It’s easy to place larger rectangles in a pleasing arrangement and then cut the top and bottom rectangles as needed.

Stitch short sides of rectangles together to make a column. Make four columns of six 8 1/2" x 12 1/2" rectangles

and three columns of two 8 1/2" x 6 1/2" rectangles and five 8 1/2" x 12 1/2" rectangles.

3. Stitch the columns together.

4. Piece backing to form a 60"x76" rectangle.

5. Layer quilt top, batting and backing. Quilt as desired.

6. From binding fabric, cut seven 2 3/4" WOF strips. Stitch short ends together. Fold with wrong sides together and long sides even. Press.

7. With raw edges even, stitch binding to quilted piece. Turn binding to wrong side and whip stitch in place. Pillows: Simplicity® 4108
