Tweedle Dee Baby Blanket
SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Lion Brand Jiffy yarn:
- 3 balls Fisherman (A)
- 3 balls Apple Green (B) or colors of choice
- Lion Brand large-eyed blunt needle
- 29" circular needle, size 17
GAUGE: 8 sts = 4" in Garter st (knit every row) with 1 strand each of A and B held tog. CHECK YOUR GAUGE.
NOTES: Circular needle is used to accommodate large number of stitches. Work back and forth in rows as if
knitting on straight needles. Blanket is worked with 1 strand each of A and B held together throughout.

yo = yarn over
With 1 strand each of A and B held tog, cast on 5 sts.
Row 1: Knit.
Row 2: K3, yo, k2 -- 6 sts at end of row.
Row 3: K3, yo, k3 -- 7 sts.
Row 4: K3, yo, k to end of row.
Repeat last row until 79 sts.
Next Row (Decrease Row): K2, k2tog, yo, k2tog, k to end of row -- 78 sts.
Repeat last row until 5 sts remain. Bind off.
FINISHING: Weave in ends.
