1. Cut two pieces of ultrasuede, 17 1/4"x 17 1/4", includes 5/8" seam allowance.

2. Cut twelve 5" organza circles.

3. Cut twelve 5" knit interlock circles.

4. Mark placement of flower on the right side of front pillow. To do this, determine where the center of the flower will be on the front of the pillow. Draw a horizontal and a vertical line at the center of the flower. Lines should be at 90 angles and 3" long. Draw 45 lines in between the horizontal and vertical line each 3" long. From the center, measure and mark 1 1/4" on each line. See illustration.

5. With one organza cicrle on top of the one knit circle, pinch center, forming a gathered petal shape.

6. Stitch pinched end of circle to the center of marking on pillow, so that the fullest part of the circle is going away from center. Repeat 3 more times, so that 4 circles are evenly spaced and stitched down at center. Points will overlap slightly at center.

7. Continue to sew circles at each mark on the outer circle.

8. Finishing by adding zipper and sewing front and back together. Insert pillow form.
