    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Use the right tool! You may think you can use something else like a pair of pliers to pull webbing but don't fool yourself in thinking you will have a job well done. This tool is handy to evenly stretch webbing - remember the webbing is really the bones of your project - do it right and get this stretcher.

I am sort of new to upholstery and wanted to keep the buying of supplies to a minimum so I really I would just stretch fabric myself or find a way by using someting around the house. Nope! I finallly bought this stretcher and OH BOY OH BOY what a difference it made in the tightness of the support in the chair I was re-covering. I purchased this online and picked it up in the store. Using a coupon and free store pick-up, it may have been the best deal I have every gotten. All I can say is "if you are interested in doing it right, you really need one of these!" And JoAnn's will always have the best deal! Good luck!
