Rated 4 out of 5 by from I think it will work I bought this to recover a feather pillow and hope that it will contain the feathers. I bought one yard; it shrank 3" in length and almost 1" in width, though machine washing and drying tightened the weave--important if you're using it for feather pillows. It also softened it--before laundering it was very crisp, like canvas, but not as heavy. Please note that it is 32" wide (before laundering). I'd say the fabric is perfect for overalls, too. :)

He wanted engineer overalls and at 8 they have to be ordered from a specialty site. This fabric is perfect for his overalls. He is a July baby and regular denim is hot for outdoor train rides. This fabric is light and keeps him cool and he loves his new overalls.

I couldn't find any of this fabric at my local fabric store so I decided to search on Joann.com and found just what I was looking for, on sale too! When it came by mail I was worried because it felt stiff but after washing and drying it was just perfect. I made an envelope style cushion cover to go over a feather insert on my couch and it turned out perfect!!
