Warm and Natural and Warm and White are the staples of my quilting business. Nothing, but nothing gives me same results. It is a little tough to get small, even hand quilting, but once you're used to it, it's just a joy to work with. My customers are also pleased that it seems to keep the quilt at just the right temperature, they are not too hot, or too cold. Can you tell I like it? Definitely recommended!
I just ordered my third 40 yard roll in eight years. This is the only batting I use. I do not pre-wash my fabric. I buy good fabric and I know it won't run. When I finish a quilt I toss it into the washer and dryer. The little bit of shrinkage of the fabric and batting gives the quilt a lovely old fashioned "quilty" look. I machine quilt everything, the batting never shifts, and I wash and dry my quilts many times. Perfect for quilts that will be used. I also love this for wall hangings, place mats and table runners. By buying it on the big roll I know I'll always have the perfect batting when I need it. It's easy to piece two pieces together with a zig-zag so there's never any waste.
Have used it in many quilts. It holds it's shape and is easy to work with.
With my experience involving sewing projects and having quilts not survive, I found this to be the best batting. I was able to get a quilt done without the batting pulling apart during the project. I also use it for hot pads and anything that requires batting or filler. I won't buy anything else.
I like the warm and white because no matter what color the quilt, it doesn't show through. Because of the needled cotton, it doesn't shred if it isn't tied closely. Best of all, it doesn't sweat. It is warm or cool. You don't overheat under it.
I use this in all my quilts and projects. It quilts wonderfully and is nice and warm, but can also be used for summertime projects.
