  • Bernat® Blanket™ (10.5 oz/300 g; 258 yds/234 m):
    • Main Color (MC) Light Teal 3 balls
    • Contrast A Sugar Cookie 2 balls
  • Circular knitting needle size U.S. 11 (8 mm) 36” [90 cm] long or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Scissors
  • Tape measure


Approx 50” x 56” [127 x 142 cm].


8 sts and 13 rows = 4” [10 cm] in stocking stitch.


Note: When changing colors at the end of rows, do not break, carry color loosely up side of work.

With MC, cast on 110 sts. Do not join. Working back and forth across needle in rows, proceed as follows:
Knit 6 rows, noting 1st row is WS.
1st row: (WS). With MC, K4. Purl to last 4 sts.
2nd row: Knit.
3rd row: As 1st row.
4th row: K4. *(K2tog) 3 times. (yo. K1) 5 times. yo. (ssk) 3 times. Repeat from * to last 4 sts. K4. Do not break MC. Join A.
5th row: With A, as 1st row.
6th row: With A, purl.
Rep 1st to 6th rows for Feather and Fan pat until work from beg measures approx 54” [137 cm], ending on a 3rd row of pat.
With MC, knit 7 rows. Cast off knitwise (WS).
