1. Cover work table with Surface Cover®.

2. Wash sweater without fabric softener. Place damp sweater on surface and smooth flat.

3. Wearing gloves from dye box, fill dye bottle with water to indicated line. Shake until thoroughly mixed. Squeeze dye, back & forth vertically along edge, on the lower third of sweater and sleeves.

4. Cover dyed fabric with plastic wrap to keep damp. Allow to set 6 to 8 hours or longer for most intense color.

5. Rinse dyed fabric under warm running water until extra dye is removed & water runs clear. Fill washer to large load setting with hottest water suitable for fabric & a small amount of laundry soap. Dry. Iron smooth.

6. Cover Fleur-de-lis applique with pressing cloth and iron, following packaging instructions.

7. Working in sections, use Fashion Art Tweezers® to position crystals on the sweater.

8. Turn on Cordless Heat-Setting Tool®. Following packaging instructions, apply crystals by touching the tip of hot tool to top of crystal. Hold for 5 seconds, then remove tool and allow crystal to cool. Touch crystal with fingernail to check that it has adhered. If not, add more heat.
