Wilton® Cake Pans Novelty Cupcake is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cupcake Pan I own enough Wilton pans to open my own store and have had not problems until this one. I bought this pan with big hopes and ideas since I love to decorate cakes, etc. Because the "cake" portion of the pan is much deeper than the "paper wrapper" base, the batter in the cake portion would not bake completely. I tried less batter, lower temps, etc. It never worked. When baking at a lower temp, because it took longer, the area with less baked and then pulled away from the sides of the pan and broke off from the cake portion. I've had years of experience with baking, and don't know what else to try. I did read about inserting the metal "donut" in the middle to difuse the heat, but I really don't want a hold in the middle of my cake.
