  • 3 Glass bottles of choice
  • Wire cutters
  • Bent-nose pliers
  • Round-nose pliers
  • Bead reamer
  • Pencil
  • Cork

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cut one piece of 20ga wire 5" long.
  2. About 1-1/2" in from one end of wire, make a loop using round-nose pliers.
  3. Make a second loop, 3/4" away from first loop.
  4. Hold wire up to bottle and wrap wire around top neck of bottle. Twist wire ends together to secure around neck. Trim excess wire.
  5. To create handle, cut another piece of wire 7" long. Insert one end of wire through one wire loop on bottle. Bend the short end of wire up using round-nose pliers to secure end of wire on bottle loop.
  6. Using a bead reamer, create a hole through cork and thread handle wire through hole.
  7. Insert end of wire through second loop at neck of bottle. Bend wire up using round-nose pliers to secure wire handle on bottle loop. Cut excess wire.
  8. Cut a piece of wire 7"-8" long. Thread one glass bead onto wire, bend wire over top of bead and wrap wire twice at base of bead to secure. Wrap the long remaining "stem" of wire 3 times around pencil.
  9. Wrap remaining wire stem several times around neck of bottle just below handle.
  10. Cut another piece of wire 5"-6" long. Thread one glass bead onto wire, bend wire over top of bead and wrap wire twice at base of bead to secure. Wrap the "stem" of wire 2 times around pencil.
  11. Wrap remaining wire stem several times around neck of bottle just below handle.
  12. Cut another piece of wire 3"-4" long. Thread two glass beads onto wire, bend wire over top of bead and wrap wire twice at base of bead to secure. Wrap the "stem" of wire once around pencil.
  13. Wrap remaining wire stem around neck of bottle just below handle.
  14. Repeat steps 1-13 for remaining two bottles.
