Woven Metallic Bangles

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

2" WOVEN BRACELET:

• 8 yds Project Runway silver metallic pleather trim, 1/4" wide
• Plain bangle bracelets
• Clear craft glue.
• Scissors
• Tweezers

OTHER BANGLES:

• Project Runway silver metallic pleather trim, 1/4" wide
• Project Runway brown metallic pleather trim, 1/4" wide

DIRECTIONS:

2" WOVEN BRACELET:

1. Starting inside the bangle, glue and tape end of trim.
2. Wrap entire bracelet with trim and glue end on the inside of bangle. Do not wrap it too tightly, you will need a little give to weave the horizontal trim.
3. Slip end of trim under vertical trim and glue in place.
4. Basket weave trim over and under.
5. 5. Tuck end of trim under a piece of vertical trim and glue in place. Tweezers are helpful to pull the trim through while weaving.

OTHER BANGLES:

1. Wrap bangles with string to gauge placement of trim.
2. Use string to measure trim.
3. Wrap and glue as above.
