How To Get It
Poly-Fil® Extra-Loft® batting is a bonded 100% polyester quilt batting with a medium loft that creates more dimension when hand quilting, making it a great choice for beginners. It is light and airy for year round warmth and comfort and will keep its shape year after year making it a wonderful batting for bed or baby quilts. It has an even give, so it works for hand or machine quilting, as well as whole cloth and tied quilts. It can be doubled to achieve a fluffier comforter look and feel. Extra-Loft® can also be used as an upholstery wrap to create the full plush cushions we all love. The 120” x 120” king size will create an easy to care for, quick drying bed quilt, and works wonderfully for charity projects and gift giving because it is large enough make several different projects from one piece. It will not beard and is washable after quilting making it a great choice for all quilting and crafting projects. Weight: 3.5 oz. / sq. yd. and has about 3/8” loft.

- Bonded polyester won’t beard or shift, and will retain its shape after washing
- Weight: 3.5 oz. per sq. yd. Loft about 3/8”. Quilting distance is 2"- 4"
- Quick Tip: Sometimes the polyester battings get wrinkled in the packaging. If laying the batting out to breath doesn't remove the wrinkles you can put it in the dryer on LOW with a damp cloth just for a few minutes, and they should disappear

What I expected!
The poly fill was exactly the size as stated on the packaging and the description on the site, it held up well during the quilting process and the quilt had a nice fluffy appearance when I was done. This is what I wanted in this particular project.

it should be named "soft and COMFY"
I bought this batting because the batting I usually buy was not available and after I used it the first time this is my batting of choice. I love the loft. I do all hand quilting and the stitching really stands out. It is smooth, without the lumps and bumps you try to avoid in batting. The quilts are soft and warm. My only regret is that it took me so long to find it. It truly should be named "soft and COMFY"
