15"Round Ottoman with Hairpin legs

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
  • 1yd 54" home dec fabric
  • 3yds 6/32" cording
  • Purchased 15" round ottoman
  • Sewing machine
  • Basic sewing supplies

DIRECTIONS:
NOTE: 1/2" seam allowance
  1. Cut 16" circle for top.
  2. Cut one piece 8 1/2" X 48" for side.
  3. Cut two bias strips 1 5/8"x 52".
  4. Cut cording into two 52" pieces and cover with bias strips.
  5. Stitch one piece of cording 1/2" from edge of top circle Clip seam allowance to ease.
  6. Fold side piece right sides together and seam 8 1/2" edge.
  7. Add side piece to top easing in and seaming 1/2".
  8. Seam remaining cording 1" up from bottom edge.
  9. Turn right side out and place on top of ottoman.
  10. Turn upside down and staple all around placing cording accordingly.
  11. Add legs.
