SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 1/2yd fabric
- 1lb bag fiber fill
- Long beading needle
- Disappearing marker
- Matching pearl cotton
- Matching thread
- Basic sewing supplies
DIRECTIONS:
- Cut two pieces 18"x 18" for cushion and 4 pieces 1 1/2"x 10" for ties.
- On RS of top and bottom, use a disappearing marker to mark placement of tufts in center of cushion, approximately 3" apart.
- For ties, press under 1/4" on one end then fold and press tie together lengthwise; open and fold edges to center fold; press.
- Edge stitch and repeat with remaining ties.
- Baste or pin 2 ties to back of cushion about 2" from the corners.
- With RST, stitch together cushion top and bottom leaving an opening in back for turning.
- Clip corners and turn RS out.
- Stuff to desired fullness.
- Slip stitch opening closed.
- Use a long beading needle and pearl cotton to tie tufts in cushion.
