17"x 15"x 3"Boxed Seat Cushion

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• 1/2 yd 54" wide Home Dec fabric
• 17"x 15"x 3" foam cushion
• Matching thread
• Basic sewing supplies

DIRECTIONS:

NOTE: Use 1/2" seam allowance.

1. Cut 2 pieces of Home Dec fabric 18"x 16".
2. Cut 2 pieces 18"x 4" and 2 pieces 16"x 4".
3. With RST, sew the 18" and 16" pieces together along the 4" side, starting and stopping 1/2" from top and bottom.
4. Repeat with other pieces and then sew together to make “box".
5. With RST, sew the top piece onto box, pivoting at the corners.
6. With RST, sew the bottom piece onto box, pivoting at the corners and leaving an opening in the back for turning.
7. Turn right side out and insert foam.
8. Slip stitch opening closed.
