SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
DIRECTIONS:(one pillow)
Cut one square 18”X18” for the front of the pillow.
Cut 2 pieces 13”X18” for the back of the pillow.
On the two back pieces, finish one 18” edge by folding the edge 1/2" twice, pressing the fold and top stitching along the fold.
On your worksurface, lay the 18”X18” square front with the right side facing up.
Take one of the back pieces and place it face down on top of the front, so that the right sides of the fabric are touching. The unfinished 18” edge should line up with the side edge of the front piece, and the finished edge should be in the middle of the fabric.
Take the second back piece and place it face down on top of the other back and front, so that unfinished 18” edge lines up with the opposite side edge of the front piece, and the finished edge overlaps the other back piece in the center by several inches.
Pin and sew around all 4 sides using 1/2" seam allowance.
Trim the corners by clipping diagonally across the seam allowance in each corner. Do not cut through any stitching.
Turn the pillow cover right side out through the back flap.
Use a dull, pointed object or point turner to poke out each corner.
Insert an 18” pillow form.
