  2. Cut 1 each of coordinating fleece 20" x 20" for bed.
  3. Cut 4 each of coordinating fleece 8" x 20" for sides.
  4. With RST, stitch all four sides together at the short ends to form a ring stopping 1/2" from the bottom of each seam.
  5. Repeat with contrast fleece.

  9. “Stitch in the Ditch" (stitch over top of seam) on all four sides stopping 1/2" from the bottom of each seam.
  10. Pin wrong sides together of 20" x 20" pieces.
  11. Working one side at a time, pin raw bottom edges of one side together and pin to WS (underside) of bed.
  12. In the center of the side, carefully clip 1/2" into seam allowance and fold back (this will be the inside of the dog bed) stitch 1/2" seam being careful not to catch folded back section.
  13. Repeat with next three sides.
  14. On the forth side, also clip and fold back a section on the top side of the bed piece; carefully stitch together so as not to catch the folded back sections.
  15. Stuff each side and bed to desired firmness and stitch opening closed.
  16. Tuck seams to inside of bed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Would not recommend. This pattern makes no sense. If you're making a 22" bed, why cut 20 ". The sides don't count as the size only the height.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Takes a little time to understand I see that in cutting pieces in contrasting fabric actually means cutting 2 of everything. I do much better with a pattern that has drawings/diagrams in the instructions, but I figured it out using Google and other patterns :-)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst written directions ever These directions don't make any sense.I think there is a mistake when it says only cut one 20 x 20 piece.
