This 100% cotton canvas is great for many projects. The medium/rought texture makes it eligible to use for acrylic and oil-based paints. This canvas is stretched over a spruce/pine wood frame so that artists can paint from edge to edge.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Warped! I bought this canvas along with two other sizes. I unwrapped it put it on my easel and worked on a painting. When I removed it from the easel, I laid it flat and the stretcher bars are warped. A lot. The 24 x 24 painting I did on the Artsmith Canvas prior to working on the 24x36 size is very slightly warped when I lay it flat or on the wall. I buy canvases frequently and thought I would give these a try when they were on sale. I will NOT be buying these canvases again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Deep Canvas This is my go to canvas. I like to work hard and beat up my canvas pretty bad with my knives. The Gallery series have extra deep setback so I don't get ghosting of the stretcher bars on the face of my painting.
