Almost like water!
I wanted to save time an not color match the things for my project. Instead I spent triple the amount of time painting 12 layers of paint. It doesn’t dry quickly and it’s super thin and watery. So sad. I should have stuck to apple barrel.

Excellent for pouring/fluid art!
I’ve been using Top Notch since Joann’s released it and I’ve really enjoy it for pouring! I paired it with Liquitex pouring medium and Floetrol and really enjoyed the results!

I like it better than the others.
I just finished a project using this brand and apple barrel in similar colors. Both brands needed multiple coats and certain colors had better coverage than others, which is to be expected. They dried in the same amount of time as well. The reason I like Top Notch better is because the colors that were similar were not as bright and in your face as the apple barrel versions.

Super thin, multiple coats needed, skip!
This paint is very very thin and needs lot of coats to get any sort of even coverage. I have never had this problem with other similarly priced cheap brands (apple barrel, craft smart).
