Hands down BEST YARN I've ever used!I bought the Dusty Pink skein that was 115 yd and was able to make 4 pairs of baby shoes and even have enough left over to make 1 more pair! I highly reccomend buying this yarn! I love all natural fabrics, especially for clothing, and this yarn made such cute baby boots! I highly recommend!

Roving yarn is different from what you may expectFirst, it’s roving yarn. There’s not a twist, it will vary in thickness, it will shed, and it will break if stretched too thin. It’s a long piece of wool, and it may be helpful to think of a long strand of cotton that hasn’t been twisted into the nice strands we are used to working with. You can make things with a tighter stitch, but you still have to be careful about how much you play around with it before it’s stitched up. With that said, I like the yarn and the thickness of it. If you know how to handle “Roving Yarn”, there shouldn’t be any problems. Also, 100% wool has a tendency to be scratchy. That’s the nature of the fiber, and unless it’s merino, super wash, or has been treated in some other way, you have to take the good with the bad, listen to the reviews from people who have experience with this type of yarn, and use it appropriately. This wool hasn’t been treated in any way and isn’t a special type of fiber, so it will do all the things the negative reviews say. It may also be a good idea to look up some videos or read blogs about how to handle it. Just my two cents, for what it’s worth.

DoableI ordered the mustard, pink and charcoal colors. The colors aren't as bright in person but it looks nice. I was able to crochet a nice mustard/charcoal scarf as a gift and a pink cowl for myself. It is soft and not scratchy. The yarn is not even sized, it may be because it's a roving yarn? Also as roving yarn, you are limited to what you can make. Small items like scarves and hats are great but sweaters and poncho may cause the yarn to felt easier than non-roving.

Poor qualityThe yarn is ok (not too soft), the colors are great but the quality is poor. There is no twist at all, if it had any, it would have been barely worsted. Because of lack of twist, fibers are everywhere – sometimes you breathe them in…awful. The garment snags already, and it’s not even half done.
And the knots, 5 in the second skein (none in the first skein). Not sure what to think, but I would not buy this yarn again.

Warm, cozy, and softThis is a fun beautiful yarn. It is easy to work with, easy to see your stitches. It does separate easily though so you have to be careful of splitting it with your hook. Overall a great wool yarn. Purple color is simply beautiful.

Like this yarnI biught this yarn in january and just got to work on it now. I have 5 colorsplum, yellow, light amd dark blue and white. Colors are vibrant. Yarn weight is consistent to description and between colors. Yarn is not itchy at all and is working up great into a simple elegant crochet blanket.
