3D Hanging Gem Ornaments

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
  • Cricut Explore Wild Rose Air™ 2 or Cricut Maker™
  • Cricut® StandardGrip Mat
  • Cricut Scoring Wheel (for Maker) or Scoring Stylus item
  • White cardstock
  • Gold spray paint
  • Hot glue gun/glue gun sticks
  • Adhesive for paper
  • Monofilament or ribbon

  3. To make changes to this project, use the Mat Preview screen to move pieces to different mats or colors. You may also change the project copies to cut multiples.
  4. Follow the prompts in Design Space to cut the images from the cardstock.
  5. Insert your scoring tool when prompted.
  6. Fold along the score lines of the shapes. Glue along the tabs with the adhesive for paper. Set one end aside.
  7. Spray paint one end in a well-ventilated area and allow to dry fully.
  8. Thread monofilament or loop of ribbon through the top tip of the unpainted end.
  9. Glue top end to the bottom painted end with hot glue.
