SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 14"x 7" print cotton flannel
  • 14"x 7" solid cotton flannel
  • Fabric marker
  • Sewing supplies
  • Scissors
  • Ruler/measuring tape

DIRECTIONS:

    Use a 1/4" seam allowance
  1. Cut two 4 1/2"x 6" pieces of each flannel for front.
  2. Cut two 4"x 6" of each flannel for back.
  3. Back:
  4. Fold print down 2" from the top.
  5. Place folded print RS up onto RS of back flannel piece.
  6. Sew edges together.
  7. Front:
  8. Fold each print piece down 2" from top; then fold in half lengthwise and finger press.
  9. Fold each solid piece in half lengthwise and finger press.
  10. Place the print piece around the solid piece as shown in the photo.
  11. Sew edges together.
  12. With RS together, lay the front on top of the back. Match the sides and top & overlap center front pieces.
  13. Sew edges together. Turn RS out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks so cute I think the tissue pouch is so adorable, I'd give it a 5. But the instructions are vague, at least to me. I'm not that creative that I would make something without clear directions. So I went to YouTube and found some there. However, I like the pattern on this site better. I would love if the instructions were re-written more specifically.
