Abstract Color Block Canvas

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Canvas
• Acrylic paint (Recommended: cream, blush pink, tan, metallic gold or use your own color palette)
• Assorted brushes
• Pencil

DIRECTIONS:

1. Pencil out the block shapes onto the canvas, use the example as a guide or create your own layout.
2. Paint in the block shapes in desired colors.
3. Add additional coats as needed, allow drying between coats.

JOANN HACKS:

• Work in layers starting with the background shapes then adding the foreground color in after the others dry.


• The edges can be loose and blended, the overall look is painterly.
