Intermediate 3-5 Hours

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Templates provided
  • 12"x12" Scrapbooking paper of your choice
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Fiskars Hand Punches 1/4" Rectangle
  • Ribbon Yarn
  • Glue

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Place the template onto the cardstock and lightly trace with a pencil.
  2. Cut out each of the template pieces.
  3. Use the paper punch to punch holes where the paper will be connected by the yarn ribbon. Also punch holes at the top to place yarn for hanging.
  4. Glue the pieces together as shown.
  5. Cut a 48" piece of ribbon yarn. Fold the ribbon yarn in half so the ends are even. Thread the folded end through the holes at the bottom of the wall hanging. Pull the ends through the loop, pulling until the loop is snug against the paper. This will create a knot to hold the ribbon in place. The holes on the circle portion have 1 ribbon per hole and the holes on the half circle have 2 strands per hole. Experiment with colors and amounts of ribbon until you get the desired look.
  6. Figure out the desired length of your hanging string. Cut 1" longer to account for knots.
  7. Thread the hanging ribbon from front to back knotting the end in the back. Hang your finished project & enjoy._x000B_
