Adventure Awaits Card

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Hero Arts® Rain Forest Bold Ink Cubes
• Hero Arts® Morning Glory Bold Ink Cubes
• Hero Arts® Ink Blending Brushes
• Hero Arts® Acrylic Stamping Block
• White Cardstock
• Die Cutting Machine
• Paper Trimmer
• Scissors
• Masking Tape or Washi Tape
• Foam Adhesive
• Liquid Adhesive

DIRECTIONS:

1. Trim a piece of white cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Fold in half to create card base.
2. Trim a piece of Adriatic cardstock to 4" x 5 1/4". Stamp the Waves background with Clear Embossing &n Watermark Ink.
3. Trim a piece of white cardstock to 3 3/4" x 5". Use an Ink Blending Brush and Green Apple Ink to create a light gradient of color on the bottom quarter of the cardstock panel.
4. Use green inks from the Rain Forest Bold Ink Cubes set to stamp the mountains and trees along the bottom of the panel. Use masking tape or washi tape to mask off mountains so they appear as if they are overlapping.
5. Die-cut the three clouds from the white panel.
6. Stamp the sun image using Butter Bar and Orange Soda inks from the Morning Glory Bold Ink Cubes pack. Die-cut with coordinating die.
7. Stamp the "Adventure Awaits" message using Aegean ink.
8. Adhere the waves background panel to the white card base with liquid adhesive.
9. Adhere the white panel to the card base with foam adhesive.
10. Adhere the sun overlapping one of the clouds with foam adhesive.

JOANN HACKS:

• Use your dies with and without the coordinating stamps! The clouds are a versatile die that can be used on many different types of projects.
• Ink cubes are great for creating multi-colored stamped images, like the sun on this card. Just slightly overlap the ink colors to achieve a smooth blend of color.
