SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Colored paper or cardstock
- Double-sided tape or glue
- Adhesive foam squares
- Adhesive gems
- Scissors or precision utility knife
- Pens or markers
- Optional: Cricut machine
DIRECTIONS:
- Select a blank card to use as your base or cut a piece of cardstock to the size you would like to make for your card. These cards are 3 1/2" wide x 5" tall.
- Pick a saying you would like to base the design of your card around. If using your Cricut machine you can pick from many fonts to draw OR you can write by hand on your card. Play around with capitalization, alignment and font mixing.
- Attach the paper to the base of the card using adhesive foam squares if you want do add dimension to your design or use double sided tape or glue if you want this particular element to lay flat.
- Using different pieces of colored paper/cardstock play around with shapes, designs and wording for your greeting card. Keep in mind you can add several layers of paper for more dimension.
- Use adhesive gems along with your pens or markers to add fun patterns onto the paper.
- Once you are satisfied with your composition, adhere all the shapes to the layer underneath.
