DIRECTIONS:
- See "GET PATTERNS" tab to use one of the messages provided as an option for the valentine.
- This craft creates Valentine's cards with an attached iron-on applique "gift."
- Decide on the color palette, copy, and theme of your Valentine. We designed each card to match the color palette of the applique. Next, start creating the Valentine by choosing from your patterned and solid colored craft papers for the background. Add the appliqué, using removable adhesive dots to lightly fix the applique.
- When the placement of the applique is decided, add foam letter stickers, wooden letter tags, or use one of the messages we provided by clicking on the "GET PATTERNS" tab.
- Add embellishments—heart buttons, assorted foam stickers, heart-shaped brads, washi tape, heart ribbon, and/or die-cut sequins to add special touches to your Valentine.
JOANN HACKS:
- It is helpful to rough cut our paper and decide on the placement of our embellishments before gluing.
- Messaging can be created with hand lettering.
