SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 100% cotton fabric
- Basic sewing supplies
- Barrette
- Pattern pieces for bow
DIRECTIONS:
- Cut one piece 11"x 6" on the fold.
- With right sides together, sew along 3 edges, leaving an opening 3" long to turn.
- Turn right side out and press.
- Fold in half to mark center on long sides and sew a basting stitch to gather bow at center line.
- Cut two long pieces on the fold for the bow tails.
- With right sides together sew bow tails, leaving an opening 3" long, near the center of the bow, to turn.
- Turn right side out and press.
- Hand stitch the opening closed.
- Fold tie in half lengthwise two times and baste at center.
- Cut one piece 4"x 2 1/2" for the center loop.
- Sew right sides together, leaving ends open, turn right side out and press with seam in the center of the loop.
- Finish ends of loop by turning under and stitching close to the edges.
- Lay bow on top of bow tails matching center basting stitches.
- Thread loop through barrette and wrap around bow and bow tails.
- Hand stitch loop and barrette to bow, pulling to make sure the bow lay correctly.
Craft Hack Tips and Tricks:
- For a shorter tail on the bow, cut down 2" from each end of the bow tail following the profile of the pattern.

Are the pattern measurements correct?
Having a very hard time understanding the directions and the pattern pieces maybe some pictures to help clarify I didn’t think this should be very hard but maybe it’s Monday?
