SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Two bandanas
- Bleach
- Scissors
- 18 gauge wire
- Iron
- Sewing machine
- Coordinating thread
DIRECTIONS:
- In a plastic container, mix one-part bleach, two-parts water.
- Submerge the bandanas into the water/bleach solution for a minute or two. Remove and ring excess solution from them.
- Allow wet bandanas to sit for 10-15 minutes.
- Wash the bandanas thoroughly. Allow to dry.
- Place the bandanas on on top of the other and sew along one side.
- Open the two bandanas and cut out a piece that measures 37"x 6".
- Fold the 37"x 6" piece of fabric in half lengthwise, iron the edge.
- Sew along the long edge.
- Turn the piece right side out.
- Cut each end of the folded fabric at an angle, cutting from the folded edge, to about 3" from the end on the opposite side.
- Fold one of the angled ends into the piece 1/2". Top stitch closed.
- Cut a length of wire 36". Fold over each end approximately 2".
- Fold the other of the angled end into the piece 1/2". Top stitch closed.
