SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Liquitex Basics Acrylic colors:
- titanium white
- fluorescent pink
- light pink
- cadmium red medium hue
- cadmium yellow light hue
- bright aqua green
- turquoise blue
- Liquitex pouring medium
- 8"x 10" canvas
- 7 Plastic cups (for mixing)
- Craft sticks
- Non-stick covering for work surface and/or grate (recommended)
- Gloves (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
- Protect your work surface with paper or plastic (recommended) and assemble supplies & tools.
- Prepare paint.
- Add pouring medium & paint into 7 plastic cups with quantities below:
- Cup 1: 2 TBSP pouring medium + 1.5 teaspoons titanium white
- Cup 2: 2 TBSP pouring medium + 1.5 teaspoons fluorescent pink
- Cup 3: 2 TBSP pouring medium + 1.5 teaspoons light pink
- Cup 4: 2 TBSP pouring medium + 1.5 teaspoons cadmium red medium hue
- Cup 5: 2 TBSP pouring medium + 1.5 teaspoons cadmium yellow light hue
- Cup 6: 2 TBSP pouring medium + 1.5 teaspoons bright aqua green
- Cup 7: 2 TBSP pouring medium + 1.5 teaspoons turquoise blue
- Mix each color using clean craft stick for each cup, until all the pouring medium is incorporated.
- Place canvas on a level work surface. Be sure to use a nonstick covering or a grate under the canvas so it will not get stuck after drying.
- Pour "puddles" of each color onto the canvas as desired (color can be overlapped). Keep about a 1" margin around the outside of the canvas to allow color to flow when tilted.
- Using a craft stick, drag a simple U-shaped zigzag through the colors to encourage subtle color mixing.
- Put on gloves (optional). Once color distribution is achieved as desired and while paint is still wet, gently lift canvas and slowly tilt from side to side, allowing paint to flow close to, or completely off the canvas.
- At this point, additional drops of any color can be added to achieve desired look. Drag a craft stick through and tilt again as needed.
- Allow 24-48 hours to dry.

Awesome Instructions!
This is the best set of instructions I have run across on Joann.com. The pictures and text make following the instructions super easy. And the end product looks great. Had great fun doing this one.
