Pieces are worked from lower ribbing upwards.
The body and Sleeves of the sweater are worked in yarn color A, the ribbed edges are worked in contrast colors.
A circular needle is used to accommodate the number of stitches. Work back and forth in rows on circular needle as if working with straight needles.
Front and neck bands are worked directly onto the Cardigan.
When you see 'as established' in the instructions, this means to continue in the current pattern st.
When you see work 'even' in the instructions, this means to continue in the pattern st you have established without changing the st count by increasing, decreasing, or binding off.
