Item # 13016900P1
Beginner 3-5 Hours

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Bag blue sea glass rocks
  • Bag blush pink sea glass rocks
  • Driftwood
  • 26-gauge silver wire
  • Wire cutters
  • Needle nose pliers
  • Aleena's Glass & Bead Glue
  • Cotton cord

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Lay the driftwood and glass rocks out on your work surface in the desired pattern.
  2. Wire wrap each glass rock leaving approximately 1"-2" between each rock.
  3. Hang the wire wrapped strand from the driftwood stick by wire wrapping the end around the stick to secure in place. Cut off any excess.
  4. Repeat for each strand.
  5. Tie one end of cotton cord to the end of the stick. Cut the cord to the desired length and tie the other end of the cord to the other end of the stick to create a hanger.
  6. Choose the best side and hang the hanger so the best side is facing the wall. Hang the sun catcher. Glue down each piece of wire to adhere it to the sea glass rock (this will prevent the wire from slipping).

JOANN Hacks:

  • When wire wrapping, make sure to secure the rock tightly so it does not slip out. The adhesive will also help prevent the glass from slipping out when the project is hung.
