DIRECTIONS:
- Plastic tubes
- Plastic beads
- Brown & tan paper
- Black string
- Twine
- Scotch® tape
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun/glue gun sticks
DIRECTIONS:
- Fill the entire plastic tube with beads.
- Use scissors to cut a 3"x4" piece of both brown and tan papers. Stack the two colors of paper on top of one another and place a small piece of tape along the top edge of one of the 4" sides of paper.
- Use scissors to create bristles for the broom by cutting small cuts vertically along the length of the paper.
- Use hot glue to attach the frayed pieces of paper to the cap of the plastic tube, attaching the taped edge of the paper to the cap.
- Bend up the frayed edges of the broom to give it more shape.
- Cut a piece of 8" black string and attach the end to the top of the paper bristles and wrap it around the cap several times, securing with hot glue.
- Wrap a piece of twine around the base of the broom and tie into a bow.
