DIRECTIONS:

  1. To get started, cut 60" of Good Thread and thread a size #10 hard beading needle. Bring a size 10/0 seed bead onto the strand. Leaving a 10" tail, go back through the bead to make a stop bead.
  2. String size 8/0 and 10/0 seed beads in your desired colors and combinations along with varying interest beads. Create daisy flowers where desired.
  3. To create a daisy, choose two size 8/0 seed bead colors: color A for the petals and color B for the center of the daisy. At the place along your chain where you would like to begin a flower, string (1) color A, (1) color B, and (4) color A. Go back through the first Color A. Pick up (3) color A and go through the fourth A added after the color B.
  4. To finish your design, go through a lobster claw clasp. Go back through the beads in your chain. Use the daisies to turn and go back to reinforce the connection with your clasp. Weave back through the beads and use the daisies as a place to turn and weave in. Trim your thread after changing direction 3 times.
  5. Remove the start bead from the beginning of your necklace. Thread a size #10 beading needle onto this end. Go through a closed, 6mm jump ring and then stitch back through the beads. Use the daisies as a place to turn and head back to the jump ring to reinforce. Weave in using the daisies as places to turn. Trim thread.
  6. Repeat the above steps to create two more necklaces in different colors. Vary the lengths slightly for a layered look.
