Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hire someone who sews and communicates effectively Whomever writes JoAnn project instructions is incompetent, and so is the review team. The company consistently publishes inadequate and error-filled project instructions, and goes forward without correcting mistakes that are clearly stated in reviews. That’s arrogant laziness on the part of JoAnn staff. The world is full of talented crafters who could write far superior instructions. Fire the current team and farm out projects to crafters with the requisite skills.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks like they’re trying to give an alternative to the equilibrium float. But nothing compares! Looks like they’re trying to give an alternative to the equilibrium float. But nothing compares! Besides the equilibrium float rolls up to fit in your purse or bag, no filling and no air pump or blowing needed!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Joann Online Does it Again These are the worst instructions ever written... ever. It's a cute idea and looks like an easy enough project so I'm going to make one. I'll be sure not to follow the confusing directions, make my own outer case, and follow another helpful reviwer's instructions for the inner case (which were left off completely! ) and get the project done. Ridiculous.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It Floats,but...... This project has great potential. So I bought petticoat mesh to make an inside bag to put the bean bag balls in. (I didn't want one of the grand kids to open the zipper) It does float, but I am going to add another bag of the balls. This should fill it up enough to keep it on top of the water instead of sinking where you are sitting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fabric fun project Love the Solarium Fabric, so many choices. This was fairly easy but the last part of the instructions were missing.  For those who need them here are the final steps.  After you sew the front and back together, turn it rightsize out.Next fold the three yards of mesh in half and sew all three sides leaving an opening of about 12"-18".  Place the styrofoam pellets into the mesh bag and sew up the opening.  Place inside the outer  "case" and zip up.  This not only makes a good float but also a dog bed.  My dog loves it.  I am not sure I can get it back to use in my pool!  I added a nylon handle on two opposite sides to lift it out of the pool easily.  Fun project. Great value as buying one premade is slightly more expensive with limited colors but with the Solarium, you can choose a wide variety of colors and patterns.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from looks fun! I have not made this yet but I am looking forward to doing so. For those complaining about the remaining instructions....if you look at the bean bag filler it tells you it cannot be washed so you have to make a shell for the bean bag filler so the outside cover can be washed. The instructions for this project assume you know how to make the inner bag for the bean bag filler. That is where you use the cargo netting.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Netting What it doesn’t tell you is to use the netting to make a bag for the filler. If you make a bag with the netting, stuff it, and put it inside the cover made from the fabric. When you need to clean the cover, you take the bag of stuffing out.
