22" Bee Fleece Pillow

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 1 yd Bee fleece
  • 4 Coordinating Tassels
  • 22"x 22" pillow form
  • Basic sewing supplies

DIRECTIONS:

  1. 1/2" seam allowance
  2. Cut one 23"x 23" from bee fleece for front.
  3. Cut one 15"x 23" and one 12"x 23" for back.
  4. Hand stitch the four tassels and each corner.
  5. With RST, layer the front and back pieces overlapping the back.
  6. Stitch front and back together being careful not to catch the fringe of tassels in seam.
  7. Turn and insert pillow form.

14"x 28" Bee Fleece Pillow

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 1/2yd black & white Bee fleece
  • 1/4yd yellow fleece
  • 3yds pom pom trim
  • 14"x 28" pillow form
  • Basic sewing supplies

DIRECTIONS:

  1. 1/2" seam allowance
  2. Cut two 11"x 15" bee fleece for side fronts.
  3. Cut one 9"x 15" yellow fleece for center.
  4. Sew one bee print on both sides of yellow fleece.
  5. Sew the pom pom trim to edge of front.
  6. With RST, layer the front and back pieces overlapping the back being careful not to sew the pom poms into seam.
  7. Stitch front to back.
  8. Turn and insert pillow form.

Fleece cushions 22" square

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 1yd main fleece
  • 1/2yd coordinating fleece print for sides
  • 2pk 22"x 22" x 3" high density foam
  • Basic sewing supplies

DIRECTIONS:

  1. 1/2" seam allowance
  2. Cut two 23"x 23" from main fleece.
  3. Cut four 7"x 23" coordinating fleece for sides.
  4. Cut and sew the sides together at short ends forming tube.
  5. With RST, pin and stitch sides to front of cushions.
  6. With RST, stitch back piece to sides leaving one side opening for turning.
  7. Insert the two cushions into finished covering.
  8. Stitch opening closed.

Fleece Cushions 15"x 17"

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 1yd main fleece
  • 1/2yd coordinating fleece print for sides
  • 1/3yd coordinating fleece for piping
  • 1pk cording for piping
  • 2pk 15"x 17"x 3" high density foam
  • Basic sewing supplies

DIRECTIONS:

  1. 1/2" seam allowance
  2. Cut two 16"x 18" from main fleece.
  3. Cut two 7"x 16" and two 2"x 18" coordinating fleece for sides.
  4. Cut four 2 1/4"x width of fabric for piping.
  5. Cut and sew the strips for piping together at short end.
  6. Make piping and sew around front and back of cushion.
  7. Cut and sew the sides together alternating between the 16" and 18" strips for sides.
  8. With RST, stitch sides to front of cushions.
  9. With RST, stitch back piece to sides leaving one side opening for turning.
  10. Insert the two cushions into finished covering.
  11. Stitch opening closed.

Three Piece Fleece Pillow

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 1/2yd each of 3 coordinating fleece (for front, back & piping)
  • 1pk cording for piping
  • 18" pillow form
  • Basic sewing supplies

DIRECTIONS:

  1. 1/2" seam allowance
  2. NOTE: Front is made of three fleece prints. Back and piping can be made with a combination of any of the three prints.
  3. Cut one 6"x 19", one 9"x 19" and one 8"x 19" from fleece.
  4. Cut one 12"x 19" and one 14"x 19" for back from fleece of choice.
  5. Cut two 2 1/4"x width of fabric from fleece (from any one of the fabric).
  6. Sew the three fleece pieces together for front.
  7. Sew the short ends of strips together for piping.
  8. Make piping and stitch to front.
  9. With RST, layer the front and back pieces overlapping the back.
  10. Stitch front to back.
  11. Turn and insert pillow form.
